What has the internet really done

One of the discussion that appeared on my last ACH 102 class is that why there are so many suicide rate when the internet is so prevalent in Korean. People may think the such prevalence can reduce the suicide rate because people can discuss their problems to other on any online medias. If that is the case, the why the suicide rate in Korean is still so high. I come up with my conclusion about this question. Normally people will pose things that seems happy and blissing on the internet. In other word, many will always share their happiness with others, while hiding the miseries from the public. Because of that most stuffs that those who want to suicide can discover on the internet are these pleasing stuffs. This can make them feel more pathetic then before.
