Food. We look at the labels. We count the calories. We eat it anyways. We hit the gym for two hours.
As a whole women are so stressed about food because we know that a pound less makes us a ounce more beautiful. We know one, thin is in and everything else just won't work. Yet, if most of us just ate right and worked out occasionally, we would be ..healthy.
Healthy is not what we are aiming for.. we want acceptance. Food is a constant struggle for most women because it is also our comfort system. We feel sad, helpless, scared.. chocolate can fix that, ice cream can fix that.. we dive into food seeking solace. What we kind is six snicker wrappers on the floor and a guilty conscience.
We hit the gym. I don't say we go to the gym... I say we HIT the gym. We run out our aggression, our self hatred for a food consumption. We run, we lift, we breakdown. Worse.. we compare ourselves to the model thin blonde wallking across the gym like she owns it. We hate her, we hate ourselves.. we struggle.
As a whole women are constantly overcoming weight struggles because it is one more thing that can effect your beauty. We are so self absorbed that we forget to realize there is more to beauty than outer appearaance.
