Modern Family

This is one of my favorite sitcom in the U.S. Now, modern family on the ABC channel. The story follows the families of Jay, his daughter Claire, and his son Mitchell who live in a Los Angeles-area suburban community. Claire is a homemaker mom married to Phil; they have three children. After splitting with his longtime wife, Jay has re-married with a much younger Colombian woman, Gloria and is helping her raise her pre-teen son, Manny. Mitchell and his partner Cameron have adopted a Vietnamese baby, Lily.

This comedy show presents the modern style of family through the three families. The Jay’s family gives a funny episode because of his young Colombian wife, Gloria. She makes audience laugh through her unique accent and personality. Her son is also funny because he behaves like an adult, not child. Phil acting is hilarious because he doesn’t look like a father of three kids. The story of Gay couple, Mitchell and Cameron, is also interesting because they got a weird situation as a gay couple. Modern Family is very exceptional show which I have never seen before. It also makes audience impressed in every end of episode. I can also realize that the importance of family. That’s why I like this show.
