Walking Her Home in the Rain
It was time for her to go home
Our time was up; I was bound to be alone
She got her stuff, and was at the door
That is when it began to pour
I grabbed my jacket, and she her umbrella
Glad to know that I was her fella
Out into the nasty storm
Prince Charming, I took his form
We walked with haste in the rain
Her inevitable departure, just brings pain
Finally got her home
Just to return to be aloneI wrote this after coming home soaked one night from walking my girlfriend home. My dad had taken the car that night, and she needed to get home, so I walked her. Just as we were about to go, it started to pour.
