How She Got Her Wings

Look at her lying there
She looks like an angel
Her golden locks and glistening skin
She looks deep in your eyes
Begging
Almost afraid to look away
You look back at her lovingly
She's everything you could have asked for
You smile as you walk to the table
Her heart nearly skips a beat
When she see what you have for her
Her breathes are short and quick with anticipation
Your are calm
She opens her mouth
But you kiss her before the words can escape
You tell her you love her
Before putting the duck tape over her mouth
She begins to panic
You step back to admire her struggle
But know it's pointless
The rope is too strong
With a steady hand and a flick of the wrist
Your work is done
You watch her life drain from her neck
She stops struggling and begins to cry
Her eyes glaze over and her body goes limp
You only get to admire your are for a second before reality sets in
You remove the duck tape and kiss her one last time
She's barely warm
You almost feel bad
But you know angels deserve to be in heaven
