This class bring me to a new world that I have never experience. I can still perceive my feeling when I was in this class for the first time. It is a feeling of fear and intimidation because I have to step out from my comfort zone by doing something that I am incompetent with. the only reason that I use computer is for reaching information and entertainments. Therefore, I will never think about myself making videos and 3 D project. After I put lots of effort on it, I find that even the most difficult thing can be so easy. Due to this class, computer become part of my pride. I can finally prove to those who tease at me about my computer skill that they are wrong.

My advice

Doubt everything. If you think that everything is true, then everything is false since the statement " everything is false" will only be true. On the other hand, if everything is false, then everything is true. but how about if some is true and some is false. Of that is the case, then how will you know the thing that you think is true is real. For that to be real, you need a proof, but how will you know that your proof is real. This requires another proof, another proof, and another proof. It is impossible to find infinite proofs. Therefore, there is no such thing is true or false, so you have to doubt everything.
It seems like I did learn something in my philosophy class.

A disappointing day

Tennis is always part of my disappointing pride. Even though, I only play this sport once per week, but my skill always stand out among my friends. However, today this prude becomes one of my shame. My brother and I are always competitors on tennis. We play many matches and I won most of them. I always feel I can still beat him even if I play only once per week. However, this notion is being crashed in today's match with my brother. I lose to him so badly with a score of 6-2( for the record I beat him so many time with a score of 6-1). I try to console myself by saying that it is okay since I have not touch tennis for about 3 months while he is training everyday in the school tennis team. Even though this is real, but I still can't stand the fact of losing to him. After few hours, this feeling is finally alleviated. This failure not only give me the incentive to improve my skill, but also make me realize my inadequacy.

I hate philosophy

This semester I am taking one of the most boring subject that I have ever taken, and this is philosophy. There are many reasons for this perceptive.Among those the main reason is that I do not learn any thing from it but always have to listen to those none sense that my philosophy professor told me. Not like science which can help you know more about this world, philosophers often reach for things that have no answer to them. For instance, the first book that I read in this class is " Meno". In this book, two people are inquiring for the definition of virtue. After 100 pages of reading, their discussion ended in the state of puzzlement. Even worse, their conclusion is that the virtue is a gift from god. Are you kicking, this is the answer that I receive after 100 pages of reading. At one point that almost gave me the incentive to burn the book. The next topic of this class is on the idea of skepticism. There is the Sextus who I really want to pouch. They can make the simplest question seems so perplexing. An easy question, such as what is the color of this table, can be so difficult from their mouths.

What has the internet really done

One of the discussion that appeared on my last ACH 102 class is that why there are so many suicide rate when the internet is so prevalent in Korean. People may think the such prevalence can reduce the suicide rate because people can discuss their problems to other on any online medias. If that is the case, the why the suicide rate in Korean is still so high. I come up with my conclusion about this question. Normally people will pose things that seems happy and blissing on the internet. In other word, many will always share their happiness with others, while hiding the miseries from the public. Because of that most stuffs that those who want to suicide can discover on the internet are these pleasing stuffs. This can make them feel more pathetic then before.

My way to study for the test

For people who really want to get a high score on the test, you have to pay attention to this blog. I am a Chinese and according to the stereotype, Chinese people are good in academy. However, there is no secret behind this. They get such a good score because they work very diligently. Most of the Chinese students can do very well at the beginning, but as the grade level increase and subjects are getting difficult, their grades go down. The reason for that is they study everything just by memorizing which does work at the low level classes. Beside Chinese student, most students in other Nations are doing the same thing. By reading the textbook over and over will not work. The reason one read a book is to understand it, so if you can't comprehend it for the first time. the what is the point of reading it. Especially in college readings are more difficult than other grade level. You don't have infinite amount of time to read it over and over until you can understand it.
The main resin that one can't understand what he read is that when he can't understand one part of the reading. he doesn't stop but continue the reading which builds up to his problem. I am a Chinese, and I get 4.0 GPA not by memorizing all the materials, but trying to get the concept of each topic. For me, the best way to study is to take notes while reading. This has two benefits. By actually write by the material from the book, it will be easier for these materials to process into your brain.Furthermore, with notes you don't have to read the book again which will takes lots of time, especially when studying for the finals

I don't often watch American TV shows, but recently I just discovered an American TV show that strongly caught my attention and interest. This show is called "Chuck" and it is now its fourth season. It is about a sell rep, Chuck, who works at a electric supermarket called the BuyMore. His friend,Byrace, installs a computer system called the intersect into his brain before he die. Intersect is a system that contains all the government secrets. If he sees someone whose information is contained in this system, he will flash on that person. Because of that, Chuck is under protected by two other spies: Casey and Sarah. Chuck himself also becomes a spy due to the beneficial function of the intersect. However for Chuck, becoming an agent is not a bless but a nightmare. Not also does he has to fake his relationship with Sarah for the cover, but he is also under constant fear and anxiety. His family and friends will be endangered because of him.Even though all the tings that I Just mentioned sound very serious but the show is actually very fanny. You can imagine how a normal person like Chuck can be competent of the spy game.

What question will you ask ?

There are two villages in front of you. One is called the village of honesty, and people in this village will always tell the truth. The other one is called the village of dishonesty, and residents in is village will always lie to you. There are two paths, one collects to each village , and there is an old man stand in the intersection of these two roads. two and half men

The TV show "Two and a half Men" has reached its 8 season. It is amazing about how the progress is occurring. I can still remember when watched the first episode that my brother had introduced to me. From the beginning to now, I really enjoy this show. It is not only funny and hilarious, but it also reveals how our society has changed due to the passing of time.
One of my favorite character in this show is Alan, the man in the right side of this picture. At the beginning he shows most of the qualities the high molarity. However with every episodes, these qualities slowly disintegrated. All that left is the bitching of a useless guy, one with no money and house despite his high education and knowledge. Maybe this is the absolute reality of our society that the importance of money has surpassed that of the molarity. Without money, one's molarity can never perpetuate, and even if it does, other will still judge him base on his prosperity.
On the other hand , his brother Charite reveals what an exemplary man in our society. He earns lots of money from writing children songs and jingo. That gains him a huge beach house and an expensive car. At the same time he also becomes a heavy drinker but a successful drinker who sleeps with different pretty women every night. This may be the kind of man that most women will want to be with and most men will want to be like.

Tennis and table tennis

Most of the people know what are tennis and table tennis, but do you know which one is more challenging, and harder to play. I am a Chinese and from the world perspective most people will think that I will be better at table tennis than tennis. However this is wrong despite the fact that Chinese tennis players have always been on the top of the world of table tennis. Now I will show you the difference between tennis and table tennis.


Tennis is a sport that requires the use of power, consistence , and control. Among these three qualities, power and control are the most important two. In most of the case the direction of a game will often go to the player with more power and control. The modern tennis players focus on power more than that of the past players. However in table tennis, power may contributes to a negative outcome.As you can see, the table tennis table, when comparing to the tennis court, is much shorter. In a table tennis game, more than 50 percent of the score that a player lose is by hitting the ball out.
Due to this reason, after I have play tennis for several years, it becomes so difficult for me to play table tennis. Last Friday is the first time I play table tennis and I found it more challenging than tennis since I hit most of my shots out even wit out using any power.
