Stony Brook going to the finals!

Today Stony Brook beat Vermont in the semi-finals of our conference tournament so we get to move on to the finals. This is Stony Brooks first appearance in the finals. We were the underdogs going into today's game with Vermont being the regular season champions. But stony brook looked pretty impressive today with some good defense and long range shots. The final score was 69-47 with stony brook leading for the entire game.

Stony brook is going to verse either Boston university or Hartford this Saturday depending on whichever team wins tonight. If it turns out to be Hartford then the game will played at stony brook which would be awesome and I'd definitely be going to that. Either way it should be a good game and hopefully stony brook will win and then we'll get a bid in the NCAA national tournament which would be cool.

Kinect hack with call of duty

This video is really cool. This guy managed to hack the kinect in combination with the wii remote to work for call of duty on xbox. When the guy jumps, the in game player will also jump and crouch etc. It's a amazing how he managed to combine technology from 2 different game systems and create something completely new. In the description the guy talks about the script and also has a link to the script and instructions if anyone wants to look into it. Hopefully we'll be able to do something similar in class soon. two and half men

The TV show "Two and a half Men" has reached its 8 season. It is amazing about how the progress is occurring. I can still remember when watched the first episode that my brother had introduced to me. From the beginning to now, I really enjoy this show. It is not only funny and hilarious, but it also reveals how our society has changed due to the passing of time.
One of my favorite character in this show is Alan, the man in the right side of this picture. At the beginning he shows most of the qualities the high molarity. However with every episodes, these qualities slowly disintegrated. All that left is the bitching of a useless guy, one with no money and house despite his high education and knowledge. Maybe this is the absolute reality of our society that the importance of money has surpassed that of the molarity. Without money, one's molarity can never perpetuate, and even if it does, other will still judge him base on his prosperity.
On the other hand , his brother Charite reveals what an exemplary man in our society. He earns lots of money from writing children songs and jingo. That gains him a huge beach house and an expensive car. At the same time he also becomes a heavy drinker but a successful drinker who sleeps with different pretty women every night. This may be the kind of man that most women will want to be with and most men will want to be like.

WHAT A WEEKEND ~

What a weekend that has just begun. It's been a crazy fun productive weekend. I actually finished most of my homework for class. I feel like my time management skills have improved greatly since freshman year. I can have fun and get my work all done while getting decent grades in my classes.

I also got an email about a package for me in the Keller mailroom. That is exciting but I am too lazy to go pick it up at the moment, even though the mailroom is closed right now. At the same time, I am looking up grants about abandonment and lonliness and seeing which one's seem the most "interesting".

So far none have interested me yet but I will keep looking and post what I find on here with the details and what I would like to ask for and what I plan on doing with the money/equipment. So this was a random blog about stuff that is just running through my head right now. Another random thing, but have you ever thought of something and just laughed out loud? I have been doing that all day today. I don't know why I find it so funny but I just do. This weekend has been a good one thus far...
