Players like Michael Jordan, James Worthy, Carlos Boozer, Rasheed Wallace, Shane Battier, Christian Laetner, JJ Reddick, among many others have stepped on the court and fought for the bragging rights of this North Carolina basketball rivalry. This is about keeping up a winning tradition of excellence. Showing your pride for your school by standing up to a tough opponent. Fans camp out for weeks for most games but they especially want to be in the building when this game takes place. This saturday at 8PM, Duke will have its hand full with a UNC team that has a crop of talented freshman, lead by Harrison Barnes who has really stepped up his game as of late. Who will win this game with so much at stake? I can't say but I will definitely be tuning in to watch.

Duke vs UNC
If your a college basketball fan, the rivalry on Tobacco road is nothing new. Coming off a national championship, Duke is looking like a team that can and most likely will go deep into the NCAA tournament. Seniors Nolan Smith and Kyle Singler lead the way to knock off Clemson earlier tonight. Since UNC also won they are tied for the lead in the ACC standings and they play each other this saturday to decide the tie. They are both ranked opponents so they are pretty much guaranteed entrance into the NCAA tournament but this game is about much more than just who is leading the ACC.
