I actually just moved to a new building on campus, and I couldn't be happier. I used to live in Hand which is in Tabler, but there were so many issues I had there. For example, my roommate was a traditional chinese girl, and my suitemates were .. how to put this delicately .. losers. I don't really know how I got along there for a semester, but somehow I made it. I know that by complaining, I sound totally awful, but honesty is my #1 policy.
I moved to Yang which is in Roosevelt, and its gorgeous. We have temperature control, nice carpet, more space to move about, a better bathroom set up, working elevators and a cleaner building. And I have no issues with the people I live with which is a relief. We all work together to make this place a better place to live and that's how it should be.
I'm really happy I switched buildings. I don't know how long I could have lived with my other suitemates. They didn't like my boyfriend when he was always polite and they were dirtier than hogs. Ugh, so happy i moved.
