It's been a really really long night. So after the past month or so of excruciating pain I finally gave in and got my butt down to the hospital. So there's good news and bad news... the good news is they know whats wrong with me and they can fix it. The bad news is that I need surgery and sooner rather than later is preferred. I have to meet with a surgeon no later than next Thursday.
I knew something was wrong but I was a trooper and I held out for a long time. Now, I'm in trouble. I think if the surgeon decides I need the full open surgery I won't be in school for a while. Lucky me.. I was praying I just had an ulcer but no. With my luck... Waking up in the middle of the night because of pain and missing school because I cannot breathe, let alone move, sucks horribly. Now I have to eat bland food and I've been eating milk and cereal for the past month... how much more bland can I possibly get?
Because of the strange food issue I'm always tired. Oh and the Ipad came out today and instead of going to finally get one.. I'm stuck on my couch. At least I got my power back. I need to go to the pharmacy to pick up painkillers but since I have to walk there and I can barely move that's not going to happen. Right now I'm happy I can sit up.
I know I've been skimping on the blog entries but it looks like there's a good chance I won't be leaving my apartment for a while so I'll have plenty of time now.
