this is one of the first images i captured with my DSLR. back then (a little more than a year ago), i didn't know anything about photography. it just seemed like a cool hobby to get into. for a while, my camera was basically only for snapshots. after a few months though, photography became a medium for art to me. i hardly ever take snapshots now, and even if i do, i pay attention to the composition of the picture. i started paying more attention to composition and exposure, and i got into post-processing.
i still have a long way to go. my photos are not nearly as good as i want them to be. i'm only okay right now. this is one of my passions. i want to be excellent.
