So I have two guinea pigs named Bunbun and Piglet (Minibun). I got my guinea pigs for my 17th birthday, as a gift for myself since I could not get a puppy. I really wanted to get a guinea pig because I remembered when I was in elementary school my science teacher kept a guinea pig as a classroom pet, and that guinea pig was named Oreo, literally because the guinea pig that black and white fur. My science teacher would let the guinea pig out on the desks and it would get around sniffing every student, it was very adorable and friendly.
Bunbun was my first guinea pig and she was around a year old when I got her. She captured my attention in the store because she had the funkiest fur; it was seriously messy and had she had a little Mohawk on her head. In addition, every time I went up to her cage she would run into and out of her house. I know Bunbun is a odd name but friend named her that cause he thought it would be funny. I got Piglet a couple of months later because guinea pigs like to be social. Piglet was a round a couple of months old, and was very small compared to Bunbun. Piglet is a very shy guinea pig, but she is also very noisy especially when she is hungry.
I had my guinea pigs for about one year, and they are the friendliest pet I ever had (I use to have hamsters but they bit me to much). Sometimes they are funny because they do odd things, like nibble on newspapers laying around or chase each other around in circles in their cage. Bunbun and Piglets I would say are spoiled; they get many treats and love from my family.
