Going back to prison

Someone I consider my brother is going back to prison. My friend Baxter has not had a particular good relationship with the police. If any of you have seen the film the fast and the furious than you are aware of the character doom played by vin diesel. My friend is the real life doom. His name is Baxter. You name, it he's done it. He's been in the slammer for drugs, grand theft auto, evasion of police custody, and violation of probation. I met up with him for the first time in three years in the summer of 2010. And since then we've become very close. He was hospitalized a few months ago and put under arrest for having gone through an emotional problem on his birthday along with breaking a window. He then escaped custody from the hospital and then returned the next day, and his probation officer reported the incident. His court date was two days ago and he was sentenced for 4 months in a state prison. He has been spending the last 4 months trying to get his life back together. He's gotten a job and has been staying out of trouble. He has not been behind the wheel, considering that he had his liscence taken away for high speed pursuits and evasion of custody, I will miss him but after he does his time he will be the opportunity to start a new slate and stay out of trouble while working on cars and doing what he loves.
