The power of internet archives. I recently stumbled upon some old flash animation of mine. This really goes to show how anything you put on the internet is permanently part of this collective infosphere. It's a double edged sword. Bad things could go on haunting you forever, but good things will be engraved forever for future generations to admire. Not quite sure what category this falls under.
However, it really surprises me how much time I used to have on my hands that I could dedicate myself to learning to use Flash MX to animate a short clip. I was 14 years old when I made this, and it actually still entices me because I feel that I wouldn't create anything up to par even 6 years later!
I guess it's just funny that I had more self-confidence when I was younger than I do now. I do a lot of doubting since I've grown up, always placing constraints on myself and my abilities. But when I look at what I was able to accomplish when I was younger, I figure, hell why can't I still do that? There are no limits to human potential.
Click below to laugh, and marvel (hah!), at my 14 year-old self's flash animation. It's about Counter Strike. Proof that I've liked video games even since.
