Race in America
Race is always a complex and controversial topic to deal with, and is often discouraged to be talked about in most places and situations. It seems like the only time race can be discussed is when a news personality is interviewing a well known "representative" of a race, i.e Jessie Jackson. I think there are a lot of important questions regarding race that are not being addressed. To what degree do you think racial differences are motivated by political manipulation? I think race is primarily used to divide the poor, lower middle class, and middle class for corporate interests. It seems like a classic divide and conquer strategy to me. Corporations and their head executives are paying lesser taxes now than they have since the robber baron era. If they can keep the poor second guessing each other based on the color of their skin they can keep a choke hold on politics by making sure they dont come together and demand that the rich pay their fair share.
