Weather

The weather on Friday was beautiful. It was nearly 60 degrees outside and thankfully I do not have classes that day so I could spend some time outside instead of being stuck in class all day...at least until I had to go to work later that afternoon. I love how it felt like spring! Being able to walk outside with just a light sweater instead of a heavy winter coat and scarf was so nice. It was the perfect weather to just take a walk outside, relax, do homework, run, etc. I cannot wait until we get that weather every day when it is officially spring but for now we have to deal with a little more snow this week.

I do love the spring but I absolutely love snow. Everybody looks at me crazy when I say that I love snow and absolutely loved how we got two blizzards this season, but it's true. Everything looks so gorgeous when it snows. It's not so fun to drive in because of the icy, often uncleared road conditions, (or walk around campus when everything turns to dirty slush and everybody is slipping all over the place) but it's nice to observe the snow laying on the trees and ground like a winter wonderland. I will gladly shovel my driveway if it means I get to spend time outside in the snow. After shoveling, you can just relax inside with some hot chocolate and watch your favorite TV show or read a really great book.

I will enjoy the snow we are supposed to get tonight and tomorrow (and hopefully no rain!) but I wouldn't mind a few more days like Friday during the remaining days of winter!
