Satoshi Kon you inspire me

Satoshi Kon, if you have not seen his work go and look. You know Inception? Like what you see? Then check out Paprika, it is an awesome movie about dreams and, at least in my opinion, captures the imagery of dreams and the possibilities that come with it much better than Inception.

Other works included in his repertoire are Tokyo Godfathers, Millennium Actress, Perfect Blue, and the anime Paranoia Agent. These are beyond awesome and I wish more people knew about them. I feel especially so for Perfect Blue, which has been noted for having similar themes as Aronofsky's Black Swan. In fact Aronofsky has actually used elements from Satoshi Kon's films. The biggest of all is Perfect Blue and Requiem for a Dream. Aronofsky actually bought the remake rights of Perfect Blue just so he could recreate the the bathroom scene in Perfect Blue into his Requiem for a Dream. Don't believe me? Here's the proof

Overall Satoshi Kon just inspires me and his movies are just fantastic. I find sad that he died last August. He left this world too soon. I can now only look forward for The Dream Machine, which is to be his last and final movie.
