So we've all hear the saying "it's such a small world" when you run into someone you know unexpectedly. But it really is true, we do live in a small world. Just today a friend of mine that graduated last year was talking to me about all the shows and concerts he's been going to in the city. He then started talking about one of his buddies he met at a show and wanted to show me a video from their past show that the kid had on facebook. Crazy enough it ended up being a friend of mine from high school that I havent really talked to much in college and haven't seen in a couple years.
It's just funny how his friend was also a friend of mine but we had no idea. Even with stony brook having around 30,000 kids I feel like almost everyone I meet in one way or another has connections with another friend of mine. Im sure years from now ill be running into friends from college and wherever. So even though the world is so big, it's actually pretty small at the same time.
