As I watch Oscars, I imagine what would I say if I won. would I be charming or would I fall walking to the stage?! I decided that I would gracefully accept the award and knowing I would probably never win again I would keep talking until they kick me off stage by playing music.
I imagined it something like this.
Thank you so much. I am not prepared, I really didn't think I would win.(pull of paper) I would like to thank the academy of course. Oh and to the other women nominated honestly, I didn't think I would win. (smug smile) I thought your performances were.. well amazing. I feel honored to be nominated in your presence.(music beings to play) To all of those who believed in me, thank you. (comic joke) wow, this really is heavy. hhahahaha (charming laugh) I should have worn a better dress. Thank you again. oh hi mom!
I know all the girls reading this blog have done this in their life! picked up the shampoo bottle have done it! Hair spray bottle, perfume, or if you ordered it on ebay your fake Oscar. If it was not an oscar, it's a MTV movie award or Grammy.
The point is we dream. Dream fantastically so, because we may never really live it.
I do not have an acting bone in a body, this acceptance speech will never happen. I can always dream. Did I mention I would be wearing the most lovely emerald Givenchy dress? Cheers to dreaming.
