The era of MAD MEN is gone. Men don't just go up to women and suggestively hint that there should be a commencement of dating, a drink to be had and night out. As I get older, I find the high school days are gone, Now in college it's seems everyone is detached. Even more so, since I am a commuter. It is up to me to make the first move and quite frankly, I don't have the balls.
When did the switch happen? Am I suppose to be a go getter. I don't want to be the go getter! I want to be courted. I have noticed men contemplate whether to speak to me or not. I am not evil, I'm not going to bite your head off. I will politely deny your attempt if I am not attracted to you but big deal. Take the risk. or Should women be the one to ask men out now?
When did the tide change, now women have to higher their heels and lower their tops. Are we suppose to bat our eyelashes to let you know it's okay to talk to us?
My Co-worker is one of these Mad Men, He goes for it, simply just takes the risks. He has gone on more dates this week than I have this year. (He just came behind me and said last year too!) I admit maybe my co-worker isn't the person I want to look up to lol but I'm going to try to be more ballsy. Take the risk.
