Future

The month of January has passed by quite fast. Seems like in a blink of an eye February is here and there is only three to four months of school left before summer vacation. As I started circling important dates on my calendar for midterms and other events, I realized college is just going to pass by and soon we will be looking for jobs.

This got me wondering how many of us know what we really want to do in life... profession wise. Many of us came to college having a goal of graduating with some degree, and most of us already have a certain dream job in mind, such as CEO, famous movie director, but how many of us will succeed and get that job?

My dream job is to become a dentist. But becoming a dentist is not as easy as it sounds because getting into dental school is very competitive. My desired job may seem a little out of reach but I am determine to work hard to achieve it one day in the near future.
Sometimes it may seem tough to get your dream job, but if you just do your best at whatever level you are at, maybe that dream won't be so out of reach. Some people may have also found out that the job that they wanted to do all along was just about the money, and not something that will make them content. It is important to find a job that can let you be happy rather than going to work and realizing that you dread every second you work there. And still there are people who still do not know what they want to do, but college is more time for people to discover themselves. Hopefully in four years time those people will find what they are truly good at and have interest in.
