Weekend Getaway ~

This weekend I went on a road trip to Philadelphia for PBLI. PBLI is the Principled Business Leadership Institute for my business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi. It is a weekend of networking and attending seminars on how to improve chapter relations and how to improve your skills in the real world. I had a good time and I met a lot of different brothers from other chapters all over the East Coast.

We left on Friday afternoon and got to Philadelphia around 9PM. We made it just in time for Pride Night. Pride Night is an event where all brothers gather and show their best chant or school spirit. After that, we just bummed around the hotel room but a few of us went to go get some famous Philly Cheesesteaks. They were good beyond good!

Saturday was the day where we attended all the seminars and networked with brothers from all over the East Coast. Saturday was a long and tiring day but it was fun nonetheless. We left for NY on Sunday and pit-stopped at Sonic in NJ. SONIC IS BEYOND AMAZING. It was delicious and relatively inexpensive. Sadly, the servers did not come out on skates but it was a good experience. I do plan on going back next year for PBLI 2012.

That was my weekend in a nutshell. Simple yet eventful.
