Okay so this was kind of a failed attempt at making a video that truly portrayed what I wanted it to. It is a very short video of me walking back to my dorm. I thought I'd take a video for the heck of it. At first I saw a video of just snow but as I watched it over and over again, I began to see new things. I saw the shadows of the trees, the footprints in the snow, I heard my own footsteps and the noise of tires moving across the pavement. The longer and more frequently we are exposed to something, the more we see in it. It's funny though because the total opposite is also the truth in some cases. The more we are exposed to something, the less we may pay mind to it, blocking off our senses to it. I think this is beautiful because the power lies in our hands. We have the capability to ensure we see the beauty in this world.
