Regarding a certain degree of respect people have for each other's craft, the biggest problem with today's media and internet-savvy world is that virtually nobody respects the work that we all do. Most of us have no care for each other's intellectual property, and though many will argue that we're essentially stealing music most of the time, the fact is that when people steal music, they're still appreciating the artist's work and credit the artist for the music. Unlike that, photography has gone down the drain. Today i found one of my pictures being used for someone's review of a concert. Now i have no problem with this, and was flattered that it was used, but at least credit me for the photo. I put time and effort into my craft and i'm sure the author did too, but she neglected to at least credit me for a photo she clearly didn't take and thus stole my intellectual property. what gives?
