I always remember you bringing up a rant about our exboyfriends/girlfrineds and i was checking on my posts and saw that someone posted a poem. So i decided to share a poem about one of my exgirls

It's perfect
There you are
With the candles flickering in your eyes
Casting that radiant glow onto your face
The red wine makes you smile and giggle more then usual
A violin playing it's serenade in the background
It's song complemented by the beats of rain outside
The world could end and it wouldn't matter
As long as you were looking into my eyes
The cry of thunder startles me
I look down at the rain shattering on the ground around me
I forgot I was outside
Looking back through the window
If only it was me sitting across the table from you
I wipe the rain off my cheeks
And start walking down the empty street
The storm has just begun
Please don't tell me I'm not alone
Because I am
Even if you were right next to me
There would still be a thick layer of glass separating us
