The ice is crazy!

The ice outside is crazy! I was on my way to the grocery store and found myself doing the James Brown and the Dougie combined. I tried to grab hold of the car, but it wasn't happening. Before I knew it I was half way underneath the car. Luckily for me that it was early in the morning and no one saw me. The only thing I saw was a cat that looked at me as if to say "dam" e out meow.My keys flew one way and my pocket book flew the other way.I tried to get up and slid down again.
I then began to talk to myself. I said "self something has got to give". I tried to hold onto the door handles and get myself up off the ground.Using the door handles worked. I finally was able to get on my feet. I got in the car and reclined the seat back. Boy did feel better.
The black ice and snow will put you down for the count. You have to practically take baby steps or you will join the many opf us that have fallen. I told very few people that I fell only because it's embarrassing. Obviously that's no longer true because I am blogging about it now. All I can say is be careful out there because you will go slip sliding away! Another tip that I should give you is to wear shoes that have some sort of traction. Those little"cinderella" shoes that I had on did no justice for me. I'm also happy that I have a lot of cushion in the back or I probably woul have broken my tail bone.
