I know some people already talked about this topic.but I want to mention about Valentine's Day in Japan.
Actually, in my country, Valentine's day is for women. I mean this has been a special day for women declare their love.
and in that time, they give chocolate to men who they love.
I heard why Japanese start to give chocolate in Valentine's day is a maneuver of one of chocolate companies.
But recently, people give cookies or cakes instead of chocolate as well.
There is kind of unique system in Japan. that is about "white day".
it is on 3/14, and on the day men who get something on 2/14 should give something back to the woman who gives something to them.
As stereotype, men should give candy back as gift to women.
Anyway, Valentine's Day is a special day around the world! and have a great day with your boyfriend, girlfriend or somebody who you are familiar with.
and in that time, do not forget to bring CHOCOLATE!!!!!!
