I am interested in going beyond and learning more about abandonment around the world. By doing so, traveling to older ruins in Europe to see the history would make for a good film. I have an idea that abandonment is only around us when there is no life given to it. By going to Europe & to old buildings & areas to see once populated areas filled with life now abandoned. In order for me to make this idea happen money is what I need the most and equipment. A newer HD camera, final cut pro,and tickets to Europe would make all of this possible. I believe this is a good idea for a film because it will show light to our society how we really do have abandonment around us & to show how our lives effect everything. A lot of our society has a saying "out of sight, out of mind" but I want to bring back what is always around us. Making people aware of what we have once created is great for learning about ourselves & awareness. I would say about five thousand dollars would be a good amount to cover what I would need & also to try and get this to air on either the history channel, discovery, or travel channel.
