I would like to start off by saying, I am not a narcissist .. I sware, haha. I was blond for as long as I can remember. I went brunette this October and then short a month later ( for a hair show which I regret terribly.. :( ). Anyway I am naturally brunette, However when I was younger I had blond highlights and I just went with it until I ended up looking like a walking light bulb. I mean it is really ridiculous how blond I was. That photo was taken like 6 months ago. A lot of people told me I was to blond but I have two friends who had the same color, and still do. So we were all ridiculous together and we loved it! I should of put a photo of all three of us, thats a laugh. They were and still are very angry with me for "going to the other side".
My life as a brunette is actually different. I found out that I was getting a lot of negative attention being that blond. I feel more respected now, at work ,at school, etc. I enjoy this color and I don't think I will go back. In high school I was a cheerleader and literally won " Most Confused 2008". I am a totally different person now its crazy. I wouldn't want to be labeled like that ever again. I am not saying that I was labeled that because I was blond. However I totally went with the stereotype and it was my immaturity at fault.
