Because I'm not that talkative

Because I'm not that talkative I've decided to share the prologue of a comic idea that I have. Please note that this is isn't the final product and I'm not used to really writing my ideas so it may be confusing, though it's kinda the idea... yeah I realize I'm not making that much sense. Well anyway the working title is Me and My Animus and the picture above is the initial character design of the main characters. Without further ado here's the prologue!

It is late in the afternoon, almost dusk. Hues of orange, yellow and red mix together to paint a beautiful sunset as it signals the end of what was an unbearably hot day. As the sun slowly sets we see a girl, no more than seventeen, backed up against a wall. There is an expression of fear written across her face as she witnesses the scene before her. A boy, also about seventeen, wearing little more than a pair of boxers is fighting against three muscular brutes that are, believe it or not, stars of Hawthorne Academy’s football team.

Surprisingly the scrawny boy is up to par with his adversaries, possibly even better, as he gracefully dodges each attack. It almost resembles a tarantella, though all that can be heard are sickening thuds as the boy deals each blow to his attackers. The girl looks on as she tries to make sense of what has happened until now. In her heightened state she ponders what will happen to her once the fight is finally over. Her fear continues to grow as the boy’s facial expressions chills her to the bones.

One of the brutes, Mike, manages to sucker punch the boy, causing him to lose his balance. However Mike’s slight win is easily forgotten as the boy manages a roundhouse kick, which effectively puts all three out cold. The girl slowly forces herself to move closer to the boy, though with each step she fears this may be the end of her. The boy turns to face her as we see the extent of the damage done to him. He is fine apart from blood slowly seeping from his nose as well as some minor bruising on his right leg. The girl finally stammers out “W-w-who are you?” the boy’s expression turns from neutral to almost glee as he cheerfully replies “I’m you!”

Well that's that, I hope you liked it, if you have any suggestions to make it better I'm all ears. That's about it and all characters of Me and My Animus are mine.
