So, tomorrow is the day! The day that i find out if i will be receiving a scholarship for graduate school. Though i only anticipate about 1/3 of what graduate school will actually cost, i cant help but think how truly INSANE this thing is. It really bothers me when i see friends of mine who have worked so so so hard these last few years not pursue their dreams because of money. A F*cking piece of paper. I know that my degree in particular (w/o scholarships) could run me up about $150, 000 -200,000. I will be going to graduate school this summer to start pursuing a career in Clincal Psychology. Now that is a lot of money...that's like medical school expensive, and considering i most likely won't be making what medical doctors make, i think it is just greedy. I really hope that the moral picks up in this system, I know that myself and others can really make an impact in this world with an education.
