At what point to we determine dreams from reality? I think dreams reflect alot on what a person is going through. My family and friends think that I'm crazy for believing alot of what happens in crazy dreams. I really feel like there is a lot of truth behind dreams. Sometimes they really don't make sense if you think about them but everything your mind is thinking (dreaming) must come from someplace whether you noticed or experienced something during the day and didn't even realize it when it happened. Your mind unconsciously remembers things that you don't even realize and that can reflect in dreams.
How many times do you realize that you absolutely cannot fall asleep because you're laying there for hours thinking about all the things that are going on in your life or thinking up situations that are not real? When you think about things a long time before you fall asleep, you tend to not dream. However, when I fall asleep as soon as I lay down, I notice that I have lots of dreams that night. I think that when your mind doesn't go through the meltdown before you fall asleep, it will automatically do it as a dream or a nightmare.
The other night I had this crazy dream that my boyfriend was into another girl and cheated on me. I remembered this particular girl but I couldn't remember where she was from. I guess I unconsciously picked up on it one night that we were out. Anyway, I woke up thinking of "how crazy and make belief" the dream was. That same day, I received a PICTURE MESSAGE of my boyfriend with another girl, that very one from my dream. At first I was shocked, totally blown away at the whole thing. I couldn't believe that this dream was turning into reality, was it a hint? My boyfriend claimed otherwise, but I had the hard evidence on my phone and absolutely do not put up with bullcrap. Anyway, you can say that relationship ended pretty fast.
