TECO means: "Taipei Economic and Cultural Offices"
This summer break I am going back to Taiwan. But before going back, I need to get my "Certificate of Enrollment" from school and need to be proved in TECO. If I didn't get the certificate, I won't be able to study in Stony Brook for the next school year until I finish serving in the military(1yr). It's Taiwanese duty, since Taiwan is still having a little tension against mainland China.
Few days ago(5/6), I went to TECO in NY, on 42nd street. I've been there several times. It takes me a really long time (more then 90 mins) to get to TECO, since I don't have a car. The only way to get there is by the public transportation. Honestly, I have to say that I really hate MTA bus and subway. Many bus drivers run the red light. I send an email to MTA and complain about it. But, they replied me with an extremly unsatisfying answer- they have to follow the time schedule. WHAT THE HELL?! THEY ARE NEVER ON TIME!!!
After dealing with TECO, in the subway station, there are always people performing(mostly musian). I usually don't pay a lots attention to them, but this time, I decided to slow down my steps. Many of the performers are profesional, but not all of them seem enjoying. From my point of view, only few really enjoying playing music. YAZ, a band, is one of them. Here's the clip:
