Things i learned about race and ethics this semester pt 3

Race has always been used as an organizing principal. This can be because most people fear something different than them. In the times of plantation economies white people had the mentality it was always their divine right to rule others and everything around them. This revolves around the ideology of “Us/Them” which is another way whites thought of themselves as being better than others. The inequality shown by society in this time period is sickening and cruel and even though times have changed and there’s more equality these ideas of the past still live on today.
