Idea for using cellphone as a PA system

One thing that we can do is hook up some speakers on a laptop and broadcast our voices through our phones. With some research I found there isn't really a way to make a microphone app without some latency between each output. Most of these apps tend to fail and have bad ratings. One app that I find my friends using is ventriloid. It's an android version of the program ventrilo which an app that most gamers use to speak to others online on the computer. Perhaps we can borrow someone's ventrilo server(my friend has one I can ask for permission to use it) and we can broadcast our voices through the server. There's also a button to push to talk so we wouldn't make the mistake of saying something incorrect while broadcasting.
