Death to a salesman

For me I believe that the American Dream is to live in complete happiness. For most of the people who actually become famous or end up being rich are never fully satisfied. In the public eye most of these people make it seem as if they are as happy as can be with their lives. But behind closed doors all they want to do is live life and be happy. Since they can’t they are constantly telling themselves lies to feel like they are and up living a false reality. Like William did in the movie “Death to a Salesman.” He filled himself up with so many lies that he couldn’t live up to that he eventually killed himself and this same attitude of living off lies has rubbed off onto his son Hap. William thought he wanted to become a rich businessman but all him and his family wanted was to be happy.
