All Good Things Must Come To An End

This semester has been amazing. I got to visit places I've never been before and learn new things that I would have else never got to see. In the beginning, I took the class for a dec; separating this one from art and music classes because of its interest to me. I am a computer science major and visuals in the form of media have always been of interest to me. New technology plays such an important role in my life because it is my future. What hasn't been done yet is my goals for the future. What has been developed will become my tools to get there.

Completely blowing my expectations away, the class taught me things about technology that I haven't even learned in my computer classes. 3D space is such an important aspect of the future of technology and it hasn't been covered before this point. Professor Baldwin introduced me to one the coolest tools out there to manipulate space, Google Sketchup, that can hopefully put me at an advantage in this competitive work world.

Even more than teaching actual programs and concepts, Professor Baldwin continually told us important things about the work world that we need to be aware of. The talks on Pink Collar Jobs have really opened my eyes to the beauties and dangers that I will be exposed to in the future. All in all, THR 216 has taught me an incredible lesson which is to always be prepared in any situation no matter what the circumstance may be. Thank you Professor.
