Since the existence of human beings, we have always pondered “how did this all start?” Before people developed the proper technology and knowledge to fully investigate such a question, the concept of spontaneous generation was widely accepted. . It was believed that living things were created from decaying, already dead organic matter. Also, due to the heavy influence of religion, not many scientists fully researched a topic so controversial with the church. However, in today’s day and age, science can point us in the right direction to discover where did it all really come from?
Sure enough, in 2008, scientists discovered some 3.5 billion year old volcanic rock with traces of carbon that was once made up of living organisms. One scientist called the rock “some of the oldest most robust evidence of life.” In 1970, a team of scientists unexpectedly bumped into a thriving ecosystem around a hot water vent deep under the Pacific Ocean. This provides evidence that life can thrive deep under the water, in a water-based environment. Basic organic molecules spew from these volcanic vents, and could be the birthplace of life on planet earth.

Life in the outer space. Is it really worth looking for?

I am watching this documentary on the History Channel in which they are talking about the possibilities of life in the outer space. This is not the first time i have seen or heard heard about it. I have met so many people and most of them believe that there might be a possibility of life on the extra solar planets. And for some reason, i have always found it hard to believe the idea of life on other planets. I mean, over 500 planets have been discovered and confirmed to be "too hostile" for any life to exist.

I want to ask everyone this one question that, if no two finger prints are alike and no two snow flakes are alike, then why don't we think of the idea of Earth as the only hospitible planet, in the whole universe, to support any sort of life? or complex life? Billions and billions of dollars has been spent so far on the space exploration and did nothing which would benefit Earth or the habitats of the earth. More than twenty thousand people die everyday of starvation. No one thinks about them or spends such a huge capital on this major issue.

I am not the only one who thinks or believe this reality.
