Its amazing when you think of how much money some professional athletes make. I was just thinking of someone like Alex Rodriguez. He has a 10 year contract worth $275 million. I would be happy just make $500,000 and sitting on the bench. Do these athletes really need to be payed that much money?

Every year there's always a new contract that breaks some kind of record. You can also look at Carmelo Anthony. He was deciding whether to stay in Denver and resign a deal worth $65 million. I just think that these guys get payed all this money and we have people risking their lives for our freedom and how much are they making? Same thing goes for actors and actresses. All they do is make movies and they get payed millions but people who risk their lives and do everything for their countries get payed jack.

I'm not blaming them. If i was in their shoes I would do the same thing. If someone offered me a contract like theres I'm not going to say no. I just think sometimes its pretty ridiculous for some players to get payed that kind of money.
