Veleda

Veleda told a different story then what i had expected. The first story was really funny and you couldnt help but think these people are crazy. At the show it was kind of the same story but told in a different way. Im not sure if i liked the second version better but the way she told it sold the story. She almost came off as a stand up comedian. She knew what she was saying and told it well. He actions matched her words and she got a lot of laughs. I felt that she kind of introduced the party too much and didnt tell about the party the way she did in class. the four years celebration was a great touch but i thought the real story was about the cheating aunts and the kids. I thought that was going to be the real meat of the story. The story she told was just an appetizer. I assumed she was going to get back up on stage and tell more detail but sadly she didnt. Shes a great story teller... really good. she knows how to captivate the audience. I really wish she had gotten a bigger role in the performance. Her stories would have broken up some of the more serious speakers.
