rude customers

It kills me these days when customers are so rude. They are seriously aggravating. They act like because you are in a situation where you are behind the counter that you owe them something other than customer service. Now I know that there is the phrase that says "customers are always right, but what about the employees. It"s like we don't have a leg to stand on and that we can be treated any kind of way and have to put up with it or we can be fired. That really reaks! I TR TO HOLD MY TONGUE WHENEVER I CAN BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG IT"S GOING TO LAST BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE HAVE GOT ME ON THE EDGE.
Now I don't want to loose my job so my answer to this is that I will chew a piece of gum every time a customer gets on my nerves! Either I will have a sugar shock or a mouth complete with cavities!
