Poem for Josh's Mom
So I hear you're a fighter?
So I need you to do this for me
Keep pushing back the clouds, til the sky gets brighter
Stare the white coated people in the face
Doing all that you can to make sure that bed is only a temporary place
I need you to keep
Healing yourself so josh can sleep
Putting his mind at ease so he doesn't haft to count sheep
Take it easy, rest,
and be kind to yourself,
relieve yourself from this curse
and if there's anything you need,
you call me first.
Because I still take to heart that day we spoke
one on one , just me and you
When you told me to take care of your son
And I quote
"this is my war that must be won"
So I thank you for keeping faith
and taking things in pace
The mark you left on my life
is more than a trace
So it's time for me to take your hand
and get you out of this sickly place
