He knew I already knew and loved this song, but felt it necessary to text me

Don't act like you don't know, I know this song already. We are still close friends and talk a lot and we always bonded over sharing music, but I don't know what kind of message that text was supposed to be. I mean we always send eachother music we hear, but not this song, why this one? It can't be my favorite anymore.
