The battle of the mind

Since we have seen what it can do first hand, the question i ask is when will they try to develop this for combat. creating a robot that is capable of any type of combat and have it controlled by the best strategic warfare mind from many miles away like we see in the movies, even like we see with the remote control drones that they use today. It may start out as a a toy but eventually these things have a way of coming back to hurt us. This is not to sy that the technology isn't very interesting and could be helpful.
