American Decameron Experience

I had a good time at the event. I felt that overall it was a good show that cold use some tweaking but it was progress. Some of the stories could have used more preparation and structure but I admire the courage to get up on stage and share your stories with strangers. After getting a chance to see the space that the kinect was being used in, I feel that the set we had going on could have been better aside from the technical malfunctions. For instance, I think that we could project at least two and have them going simultaneously almost like a dance. Have actors using the kinects with large images and colors that react to the actors movements to tell a story of love, happiness, sadness, or even fear. The other part that I wish we could have integrated more is the emotiv brain waves that Ryan hooked up. If there is some way to get these gadgets on a larger scale, he could stand in the center and possibly have multiples these things that he can operate and tell a story. From this first sho, I think the possibilities are endless and just like the man said, it is definitely innovative. With more time and planning this show could be perfect for touring as a troop.
