Why would anyone let Snooki write a book?

Yea, some of don't like to admit it, but we all secretly do watch Jersey Shore. Some of us, that are more open about their love for Jersey Shore, express their excitement for the show rather publicly. Facebook statuses start changing as soon as Thursday reaches to quotes like, "it's Jers-day", "It's T-shirt timeee", "Gym, Tanning, Laundry" and many others. The cast has earned extreme popularity, for some not so obvious reasons, people follow them on twitter, youtube, facebook and other sources of internet media. Though it's sad to admit, the cast members have become icons for the younger generation.

Of course, they realize their importance and their influence on young minds, and that's why have used many sources of propaganda to become famous. I was surprised to find out that Two of the cast members came out with books, and another one is in the process of finishing her book. When I saw that Snooki was advertising her book through different media sources, I was agitated beyond words. It's like our brain wasn't fried enough after watching the show, that Snooki has to go ahead and publish her book! I don't know what kind of people would like to read her book, and not quite sure for what reason either. She's funny and all in a stupid way, but why go ahead and read what goes on in her mind, isn't that almost like torturing yourself intentionally.
anyway, I found a couple of quotes from her new book extremely ridiculous and i am going to share them with you. Can't believe this book is officially a part of the North American literature.

Sam vs. Ron Jersey Shore

Every week we all sit down and watch Jersey Shore. It's really annoying how the entire show is now based around Sam and Ron's shit relationship. Enough breaking up and getting back together, its so rediculous. I don't know how they believe they're "In Love" when all they do is fight. Seriously, have any of us seen them have fun, EVER? Being in a relationship with someone is about having a great time, sharing experiences and making each other happy, completly opposite of Sam and Ron. Every other week they have a fight that has to be broken up by mutual parties in the "Shore House" and then at the end of the night, somehow, they end up in bed together. Honestly, if any of you got into a fight that bad with your boyfriend/girlfriend, would you even consider jumping into bed with them that very night? I don't think so. Jealousy has completely taken over their relationship and they can't even see the good side to anything. They don't enjoy each other's company and no matter what activity they are doing it always ends up the same way, a huge fight. The rest of the house has to suffer, listen and deal with their realationship bullshit. Sam and Ron have no respect for "The Situation" and I find it so disrespectful to act like that when they share a room with him.

I really want the show to get rid of them so that we can see them all go out and have a great time at the clubs and so that Sammy stops raising my blood pressure because she makes stupid decisions. She over reacts to everything, takes everything out of perspective and always needs the attention. I hope that she finally just leaves for good and never comes back to the shore house. This is the "Jersey Shore" not the "Sam and Ron" show.

Poor Jenny had a worse breakup with her boyfriend, yet there was only one episode on that. Jenny's ex boyfriend is a complete asshole. To trash her house is one thing, but taking her belongings that are sentimental, like her family photos, is completely unacceptable. I think all guys should know that is way over the line, no matter how mad you are at someone. Leaving her dogs unattended to starve to death is so inhumane.

I think that so many people are in such unhealthy relationships. You can't keep feeding a relationship with negativity or it will get so much worse and you will be in over your head before you know it. You can make yourself physically sick if you stay in bad relationships and its completely unhealthy. I believe that whatever happens in a relationship, should stay in that relationship. When you start to tell people everything and everyone knows your business, it becomes complicated. It's so important to keep the lust and mystery in a relationship beacuse that's what keeps the two individuals interested and on top of their toes.

Get Crazy, Get Wild

So Im really suprised that no one has brought up the biggest show on television so far; The Jersey Shore. As sad as it is, my thursday night is centered around this show because it always makes me laugh. No matter what im doing, 10 o'clock comes around and ill drop everything just to watch it. I partially like it because it makes me feel better about my own life but it also just shows such a drastic lifestyle that almost no one is used to; partying, partying, and some more partying. Its incredible to see that people actually live their life like this.

I know theres alot of contraversary behind the show and honestly i dont understand why. Besides the fact that if you dont like the show you shouldnt watch it, theres also the fact that shows such as South Park and even some music videos portray sex and drugs way more heavily then the Jersey Shore does. Recently, Snooki (one of the roomates) got arrested for public intoxication and it was brought up in alot of places as being a bad role model for people watching the show. I guess they fogot that most of the people watching the show do not want to be like this girl anyway.

Any way you look at it, The Jersey Shore is hilarious and for people who havent watched it, i highly recommend it. You will forget about you bad day that you had at the office and you biggest concern will be how many girls the "situation" is going to sleep with. Im alrerady looking foward to next season when the live in Italy. Its ironic that they act like strict Italians and now they actually get to go to their "homeland." I cant wait to see what happens!
