Increasing Prices

Why is it that the fares keep increasing for public transportation? I remember those days I use to pay $1.25 to ride the bus and subway and now its $2.25. The fares are steadily increasing. The LIRR increase a whole dollar and I’m sure that the weekly and monthly passes are expensive. If you calculate all the money you spent on public transportation you can probably buy you a damn car. Well right now you might not want to buy a car because gas is expensive too and it doesn’t make any sense. Geesh everything is becoming expensive. Food pricing are increasing and this is a necessity that we need to have. Without food how can we survive? Tuition is becoming out of control every year there is some type of increase in tuition but they have the nerve to have budget cuts. So basically we are paying to have fewer classes offered. Now that’s crazy but I guess if you want a descent job you have no choice. I feel like we are forced into paying for a lot of things. If we don’t pay for public transportation or pay for gas how will we travel? Not willing to pay the amount for food you will either starve or be malnourished. Deciding not to pay for school will not get you a descent paying job because without a degree you will be working at one of those pink collared jobs. Either way you can’t win! Yeah life sucks when it comes to this.
