Everything happens for a reason

This statement is just not good enough anymore. It’s just not enough to go through a heart break because it is happening for an unknown reason that might come our way. Why does God bring us to people and put love in our hearts for them, if we only have to let go of them. Meeting someone; someone special, someone who can make you smile, someone that gives you butterflies in your stomach, falling in love with them… you know the feeling when you stay up all night talking to a person, and you are so awake… you don’t want to go to sleep, you don’t want the conversation to come to an end, you’re smiling, you’re happy because you’re just realizing the kind of affect that person is starting to have on you.
The funny part is that most of the time, these people; that you “can not” be with, are genuinely nice. They don’t break your heart, they don’t exploit the fact that you are opening up to them, and they don’t take advantage of you being sensitive… They are always just there, they are sort of your comfort zone; you can always just depend on them.
So when you have so much going on with that one person; the passion, the long midnight talks, the way you smile just thinking about them, how you can’t wait till you go home and talk to them, when you don’t mind sleeping less because you can talk to them… why do you have to give it all up? How is it fair? Why do things like age, religion, caste and race matter, when you are the happiest with that one person?! And no, that kind of love, it never comes back. And somewhere in your heart, you always think of all the what ifs.
