The craziest story I have to share

Be warned, this is a true story. It was a chilly afternoon in spring time, freshman year of high school. My sister and I left school early to get ready for the funeral of our great aunt. We got home but our mother was not ready to leave. We found her locked in her room upstairs and we heard crashing, banging, smashing, and the sound of wailing and crying. I guessed she was just very upset over the death of our relative, but soon the sounds from upstairs became more violent. I knocked on the door to see if she was alright, and received a scream and the sound of a vase smashing against the door in response. My sister and I begged her to come out, with no success. We went downstairs to wait for our father to come home. Finally she came downstairs. She grabbed a bottle from the liquor cabinet, took a huge swig, and ran back upstairs. She locked herself in the bathroom, and then I heard the bath water running. Afraid she would try to hurt herself, I pounded on the door, begging her to come out. A few minutes later the sound of smashing had resumed. By this point my sister had called the police. As the police pulled up, my mother exited her room and commanded us to send them away. One officer came in. She told him to get out and tried to force him back through the door. He cuffed her and she fell to the floor. At this point my dad got home and was brought outside to speak with the other officer. My told the cop that the handcuffs were hurting her and asked him to take them off, but every time he came near her, she kicked him in the shins. She screamed to be left alone, and then she told him to just take his gun and shoot her in the head. The officer answered that he cannot just leave a person who is making suicidal remarks. He tried to help her up to escort her to the squad car and take her to the hospital, but she continued kicking and screaming so he could not get near her. Another police car pulled up, and later to more. Eventually there were seven officers trying to bring her to the car as she fought the whole way. They had to put riot cuffs around her ankles to keep her from kicking them. I watched from the second story widow as she fought them. Eventually they got her to the car. Two officers helped her into the back seat, as two more tried to help from the other side. She slid to other side of the car, kicked the officer on the other side in the groin with both feet, and fell out of the car into the street. The other officer on that side tried to help her up, but she bit him, hard enough that he would later have to go to the hospital. Finally she was in the car, being taken to the psychiatric ward of the Stony Brook hospital.
