Earlier today on campus, I couldn’t help but overhear a conversation between a group of people, and the topic of the conversation was how the Pope is a mere figurehead. They also made remarks saying that they don’t really respect him. As a Catholic this upset me to some degree. The pope must ensure unity of the nearly 1.3 billion people of every nation and culture. He must shed light on events that encompass worldly views, and not any particular group. Leading a religion in my opinion is the greatest responsibility anyone can hold. So before you go criticizing, do your homework and understand the responsibility that someone like the Pope has at hand before pointing any fingers.

Trip to Geneseo

Drive 325 miles to a friend's campus with pretty much a bunch of trees. After drinking the night before we decided to explore the woods and find the waterfall and dam. The water is extremely dirty and yea we were stupid, really stupid. Here are some pics I took:

Cyberphobia?

Back in high school I had a mild case of cyberphobia mainly because I was always paranoid my computer was going to have a virus. I had a desktop back in high school and I would be OCD about running my anti-virus everyday and even after I closed my computer, my keyboard and mouse had to be arranged neatly in a certain way. Looking back, my fear seemed ridiculous...how can you be afraid of an inanimate object like a computer? However there are those types of phobias out there. The most bizarre ones that I've heard of is being afraid of Styrofoam and pickles.
